A Conferência Regional da FAO acontece a cada dois anos e representa o maior fórum da Organização na Região, onde se revisam as atividades realizadas e se formulam recomendações, sugestões e desafios, tanto para a FAO, como para os governos. É a oportunidade para estabelecer um dialogo do mais alto nível sobre os problemas e orientações referentes ao desenvolvimento agrícola, florestal e pesqueiro, além de dar seguimento aos acordos estabelecidos em Conferências anteriores.
