In the issue of land and water development, the Regional Office collaborates in aspects related to the improvement of the efficiency in the use of water for agricultural and forestry production, the promotion of good practices to combat land degradation and how to approach drought and, in general, assists in the formulation of natural resources management policies considering the watershed as a geographical unit for zoning.
