Policy Assistance Branch

The Policy Assistance Branch (TCA) assists FAO Member Nations to collect, analyze and disseminate information on agricultural development at national, regional and global level and provides advice in support of the formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of strategies addressing sustainable agriculture and rural development for the sake of food security.

It also facilitates the mobilization of funds from both donors and national governments for projects and programmes in developing countries. Furthermore, it synthesizes the lessons learned for the knowledge of member countries and offers also its expertise for the development of the Plan of Action, acting as a link between the work of the technical departments and the assistance offered to the countries.
