World Food Day/Telefood 2009
This year’s World Food Day is centered on “achieving food security in times of crisis”, since today the poor face two simultaneous crisis; the financial crisis and soaring food prices.

"Eat Safely” is a campaign, launched by the Food Safety and Agricultural Health Group of FAO’s Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, that seeks to guarantee food safety and prevent food born diseases.
